Playoffs Game 1: Lady Indians Lose 4-3 Against Whitewright

GRAND SALINE—The Lady Indians lost a heartbreaker in the 8th inning on a squeeze play by Whitewright 4-3. The game was 1-1 through the 5th inning when Grand Saline added 2 runs to take a 3-1 lead and Whitewright scored 22 in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game heading into extra innings. In the circle for Grand Saline was senior hurler Kinlee Rumfield who pitched 8 innings, giving up 5 hits, 6 strikeouts, and 2 ER. Contributing offensively for the tribe was :
