A New Ordinance Passed at the Special Called Meeting on 08-28-2018

A new ordinance was passed at the special called meeting on 08-28-2018. This ordinance is in reference to junk, abandoned or legally unusable vehicles. It is required to post the heading the paper of record which we would like to post the following:

ORDINANCE NO. 2018-107

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE MAINTAINING OF JUNKED, ABANDONED AND/OR LEGALLY UNUSABLE VEHICLES WITHIN PUBLIC VIEW OF THE CITY OF GRAND SALINE, TEXAS; DECLARING NUISANCES; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE TO REPAIR OR REMOVE; PROVIDING FOR DISPOSITION THEREOF IN THE EVENT OF FAILURE TO COMPLY; PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF COSTS AND A LIEN AGAINST PROPERTY; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION; CONTAINING A SAVINGS AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; A REPEALER CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
