ICYMI Fruitvale Updates

New Fruitvale Employee--

Another one of our new employees, Mrs. Janna Pearman, our new district librarian. Let's welcome her when we see her!

I am passionate about learning and want to inspire students to become lifelong learners. That desire is what drove me to become an educator. I want to make a difference! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Tyler and went on to receive my Master's Degree in Library Science/Instructional Technology from Texas A&M at Commerce. My experiences in education range from PreK all the way through high school. Besides enjoying my job as "Book Diva," I also love spending time with my wonderful grandchildren, riding motorcycles with my husband, and spoiling my English Bulldog, Harley and dachshund, Jax.

HRE Parents--

We will mail a packet full of important papers to be filled out Friday the 4th. Within this packet, be looking for the Hallie Randall Elementary Compact for Learning. This is where you will find your child's homeroom teacher's name highlighted for the upcoming school year. You should receive this in the mail at the beginning of next week sometime. We are super excited about this time of year and can't wait to see your child once again!

Football Begins--

Remember football begins Monday August 7th!

We are moving report time to 2:45 pm in order to take care of all paperwork and to issue equipment. Remember you must have a new physical on file!

Practice and weight room will run from 3:30 to about 6:30 or 6:45!

We are excited about the upcoming season!
