Lynn Kendrick Gray (1942-2017)

Lynn Kendrick Gray was born August 15, 1942 in Savannah, GA to the late Richards Marshall Kendrick, Jr. and Myra Huie Kendrick. She passed away at the age of 74 on March 20, 2017 in Dallas, TX.
Lynn had been a resident of Grand Saline, Texas for 16 years, formerly living in Sharpsburg, Georgia. She worked in banking for 30 years, retiring from Suntrust Banking as a forms analyst. She was a member of the Athena Club and Friends of the Library in Grand Saline, and a former member of the Cozby-Germany Volunteers. She was awarded Woman of the Year in Grand Saline in 2015 and was a member of Grand Saline First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert Gray of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Gray and Roy Akins of Grand Saline; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Kendrick and Kelly Gray of McKinney; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dickie and Carol Kendrick of Savannah, GA, and Gene and Linda Kendrick of Rome, GA; and five grandchildren, Lucas and Latham Akins, and Alex, Hannah and Emma Gray.
A celebration of life for Lynn will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Grand Saline Library, 201 E. Pacific St, Grand Saline, TX 75140 , or First United Methodist Church, 501 N. Main, Grand Saline, TX 75140.
