Services for Ronald Eugene “BR” Daley are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kenny Ray and Lindsey Ray officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mr. Daley passed away August 30, 2024, at his residence in Fruitvale. He was born November 24, 1941, in Naples. BR lived all his life in the Grand Saline and Fruitvale area. He was a truck driver and retired from Fed Ex with over 57 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene “Big Granny” Rainey; son, Chris Daley, daughter, Bre’ Tipps; sister, Janice Lindsey; brother, Bobby Daley; and brothers-in-law, Larry Poole and Cliff Braley.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Debby Daley of Fruitvale; three sons, Ronald Daley, Jr. and wife Susan of Tyler, Jason Daley of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Marcus Daley and wife Melissa of Fruitvale; daughter, Rhonda Cain and husband Steve of Ivanhoe; four sisters, Charlotte Poole of Joshua, Margaret Braley of Texarkana, CK McElwee and husband Donnie of Quinlan, and Brenda Sterling and husband Don of Ferris; nineteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Roy Glenn Akins, Weston Akins, Terry Tipps, Briley Tipps, Rodney Hetmer, and Greg Vicknair.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
